These are all actual road races suitable for serious runners, receational runners, and hashers. MH3 organizes and provides the volunteers for these races.

Fifty Furlong

The World Championship Fifty Furlong. 6.25 miles of rolling country hills during the last fury of winter.

Black Earth Run

The Black Earth Run is a scenic running/walking event that has been held for many years in Black Earth, WI. This course starts at Black Earth Elementary and runs along county route KP.

Flat 10 mile and 2 mile routes.

Included in the registration fee is a View of hills and manure along the entire course. Also included is apple cider at the finish.

Finnish Five

5 Mile Road Race celebrating the declaration of independence in 1917 by Finland, the nation that produced Paavo Nurmi and all those great Heikki & Eino jokes.

This race traditionally starts at the Nautigal on the north side of Madison. This is a mildly hilly out-and-back 5-mile course that starts at the pub and traverses the Mendota Mental Health Institute grounds and nearby residential areas.
