HASH HISTORY - RUN #1554 - The Ice Age Trail Hash

HERBA WHORE, Just Kelly, RETURN TO GENDER and FROGGIE hosted their Ice Age Trail Hash near Lodi. About 20 hashers showed up and missed an early rainstorm for what turned out to be nice weather. The trail started at one of the rural entry points for the Ice Age Trail, but immediately headed onto paved roads before heading onto the wooded trail up a steep, steep, steep hill. Finally, near the top, everyone stopped to enjoy the view and, for those who listened very carefully, they heard the distant footfalls of ULTRS SMUT. Just when everyone thought they had reached the peak, the hares produced even more uphill before heading down. The trails were well maintained so this was rated as easy to moderate shiggy. Nevertheless, LIKES IT found and became enflamed by Poison Parsnip. It was everywhere so other also came in contact with it. (This plant produces a compound that can cause blistering and discoloration after being exposed to sunlight -- a condition known as photodermatitis. So when the skin comes in contact with this plant's juice and then is exposed to UV light, a severe burn can develop. If this happens, wash it off, preferably with beer, before exposing it to sunlight.) There were two beer checks located with such great strategery that the hares didn't seem to know where they were. The trail ended at the beautiful rural estate of HERBA WHORE and Just Kelly. The hares had plenty of beer and home-made sub sandwiches with various salads all repackaged to look just like it all came from a deli. Highlights of ceremonies included JFLs DIEGO and EGG BEATER who were significantly lost on this well marked trail, the snake award for JELLY and Just Terrie for handling snakes on the trail, and whining for DRIBBLES who attempted to chat up the pet llama at the farm, only to be rejected. The llama kept teasing DRIBS, but then would run off as he got close. There were several new boots including Just Kristina who also ran the Full Moon Hash the previous night, and namings for all the new boot JELLY family including JELLY's twin brother Just Jerome named JELLY BONE, sister Just Jean (from the shiggy swamp run) named SWAMP BITCH and sister Just Kathy (former circus performer) named SIDE SHOW HO. Just Terrie was also named COMES AND GOES and the llama was named DOLLY (Get it? DOLLY LLAMA). The hosts, HERBA WHORE and Just Kelly were treated to the sweetheart song after serving ice cream sundaes and banana splits.
