HASH HISTORY - HASH RUN #1581 - WET WILLIE w/ COCO

Reported by SNOW ME

The Knave, the Bald and the Strung... Oops- I mean the Brave, the Bold and the Strong - The story of the 12 Hashers with bragging rights.

Hares: Wet Willie, Coco and 3 Bangher No-Show Hare: Road Beater Hashers: Ready, Ah Shit, Nosetradumbass, High Stool Drop Out, Monkey, Likes It, Zamboner, Nut Farmer and Show Me

Neither snow nor hail nor gale-force winds, nor ice, nor ice bullets shot onto bare tender cheeks, nor ice underfoot nor dark of night at 4:30, nor the wild unexplored distance of Sun Prairie, nor frozen corn field furrows hidden beneath snow, nor frozen corn field furrow hidden beneath snow (we ran across two corn fields) nor a live hare with a tireless pace, nor frozen shiggy nor low visibility, nor hash marks buried under three more inches of ice and snow could keep these 12 from their preordained stupidity. Hares Coco and Wet Willy accepted this open run and deserve our thanks!!! Hares Coco and Wet Willy survived this run and deserve our derision for placing all hash marks under 3 inches of snow and ice. We all ran 3 miles except Zamboner who ran a 5K because he had to double back for more clothing after we started. The run started at a snow covered park next to a new school in the far west edge of Sun Prairie. From there the pack followed live hare William into the teeth of the gale, across two corn fields, through some woods, then through unplowed streets of a subdivision. Hare Coco swept the rear of the pack and no one was lost. The first beer check was a real beer check in the garage of friends where the Hares had to be cajoled into setting back out again before the sweat under our clothing hardened into ice. The second beer check was administered by 3 Banger from a car window and consisted of much-appreciated swigs of peppermint schnapps. Ceremonies were in a warm house with a fireplace and a dryer for all the wet socks - William and Banger's abode Hashers were joined by the friends who hosted the first beer check. There was enough hot food and trimming to feed a much larger crowd, but our smaller group did it justice. Ceremonies were followed by all the adults playing with the children's toys, especially the Nerf weapons.
