HASH HISTORY - HASH RUN #1606
Show Me's Wonderful Run - by Show Me... all about Show Me
The Season's first grill-out and the inauguration of a new pedestrian bridgeBeautiful weather greeted the 20 Hashers that showed up on this Memorial Day weekend. The run started as usual with the pack squeezing through the hole in the fence. How creative that Show Me is! From there the trail turned south, through the neighborhood and over the brand new bridge spanning East Washington Ave. What a fun way to go, Show Me! This was followed by about a mile of urban shaggy and rr tracks. Excellent work by Show Me! At about 2 miles into the run, the first beer stop was found, located beside the sparkling Yahara on a picnic table. Nut Farmer and Pluto were the hosts. The second Beer stop was about a mile further in Demetral Park, featuring the same two delightful hosts. Shortly thereafter, the pack came to the AC, the accident check, the spot where Show Me was hit by the bus while commuting to work on her bicycle. The whole group lay prone at the spot in respect and commiseration of the ordeal. What great friends Show Me has! The run ended at Show Me's house, in her large airy garage. Let us note here that Show Me had the first official grill out of the season. The grilling was followed by two beautiful castle-shaped cakes to commemorate the birthday of Nut Farmer. Great baking by Show Me! The evening highlight was a spanking machine for Nut Farmer. His ass is so hard we all hurt our hands! In conclusion, let me just say that Show Me did a fabuwonderful job!
